Hazeflow is a new kind of blockchain research firm whose core mission is to translate blockchain technology into human language. We’ve been operating in stealth for several months, working with top-tier crypto protocols and remaining completely private. Now it’s time to change that.
We’ve updated our branding, identity, and approach. In this article, we want to introduce ourselves and discuss the core problems we tackle.
Complexity is everywhere
Teams in crypto (especially those with complex tech) often struggle to clearly and meaningfully explain their complex product, vision, and value proposition. Countless great teams build something very important and valuable, but they don't receive the recognition they deserve.
Their product is great, but for most people (including both advanced users and newcomers), it's still too complex to understand. Potential users, investors, researchers, and developers face difficulties when learning about the protocol and end up quitting without understanding the core value proposition the product offers.
In our experience, there have been countless times when we've looked through documentation, websites, and blogs, and after five minutes of learning, we still had no idea what the protocol does. Lots of jargon, buzzwords, and written complexity don't attract people, it scares them away.
This problem exists among many blockchain teams, but especially in those that have complex infrastructure and a non-obvious vision of how this infrastructure fits into the current landscape. Most people don't understand the protocols they might be interested in, which could otherwise bring value both to themselves and to these protocols.
Introducing Hazeflow
Hazeflow is a blockchain research firm with experience in research, analytics, and the creation of technical, product, and educational materials.
We work with blockchain teams who want to clearly explain their product, the benefits it brings, why particular components in their infrastructure matter, how each category of users can benefit from their complex solution, and most importantly, answer the question: “Why should you care?”
We research and identify the core difficulties of a protocol and propose directions for addressing them. Based on this, we craft a strategy for technical, product, and educational content. This content helps teams effectively articulate their value proposition, technical architecture, and product features to a broader audience.
When we say “broader audience,” we refer to three main categories of users:
High-profile individuals: developers, researchers, investors, analysts, etc., deeply involved in the blockchain space.
Degens: community members, contributors, traders, and other active ecosystem users.
Newcomers: those who have recently joined the crypto space or the protocol’s ecosystem.
We are developing a strategic plan to ensure that all user categories clearly understand the protocol’s purpose and value. Long-form content is created in such a way that it's deep enough for technical people to dive into, but at the same time, it's accessible to a general audience who also want to understand the main idea. It must suit every category.
Our primary goal: Whenever people think of a specific blockchain vertical, our client’s name is the first that comes to mind.
We’ve been proud to work with protocols such as Sophon, Phala Network, Stable, Raiku, Sonic Labs, Venus, and others.
We’re looking forward to working with more interesting and complex protocols and helping them achieve their goals.
